Next weekend will see the Royal Gibraltar Regiment carry out a selection weekend for those interested in joining. Individuals will learn about the Regiment and the 21 different types of job on offer The Royal Gibraltar Regiment is also looking for Reserve soldiers so you can enjoy all the benefits of being part of the British Army whilst continuing your current employment.

Candidates should be between 17 and 32 years of age and have a good standard of physical fitness. New recruits should be able to run 1.5 miles in 12 minutes and 45 seconds, which is roughly the distance from Ocean Village to Eastern Beach.

Commenting on the selection weekend, Major Ian Martinez Officer Commanding the Recruitment Team said, ‘the selection weekend will consist of numerous activities which will run over 36 hours. It is an ideal chance for interested individuals to take a look at what employment opportunities we have to offer and for us to assess their potential.’
