Aug 15 - A-Level Results Tables – Fewer A* Grades And Disappointing Spanish Results
15 August 2013
These tables show the breakdown for the A-Level results of students at Westside Comprehensive, Bayside Comprehensive and the Gibraltar College. Although the overall pass rate is down 3% compared to last year, local students still performed very well.
Of interest is the fact that there are very few A* grades compared to other years. There is also a growing feeling that local students are underperforming in Spanish where they would be expected to have a huge advantage over UK students. Speaking to education professionals on the subject, YGTV understands that it was, for many years, a subject where an A or B grade was almost guaranteed.
