June 03 - Civil Service Induction Seminar
Following the completion of the recent recruitment drive for Administrative Assistants into the Civil Service, the Government’s Human Resources Department organised a comprehensive induction seminar for the new recruits on Friday 31 May.
The initiative forms part of the Human Resources Department’s strategy to prepare the new recruits to fulfill their roles as Civil Servants and to provide the general public with the best possible service. The recruits were briefed on key aspects of employment such as General Orders, terms and conditions of their contracts of employment, Government rules and regulations and pensions.
The seminar took place at Bleak House and was directed by acting Senior Executive Officer, Collin Yeo who was assisted by Katrina Martinez and Daniel Zammit. It was attended by 46 successful applicants.
