The Ministry for Tourism, Commercial Affairs, Public Transport and the Port, is pleased to announce that a new bus shelter has now been installed at Shorthorn Estate.
In addition, two new bus stops along with bus shelters have also been installed at Europort Road, by the area adjacent to Bishop Canilla House. These two new bus stops have now been completed and will be in use as from Wednesday 17th April 2013.
Commenting on the matter the Hon Neil Costa MP, Minister for Tourism, Commercial Affairs, Public Transport and the Port said: “I am delighted to finally see a shelter at the Shorthorn Estate bus stop after so many years with no protection from the elements. I am also extremely happy to know that, thanks to the two new bus stops recently installed at Europort Road, the elderly residents of Bishop Canilla House have been provided with more accessible bus stops which are much closer to their homes. I would also like to take this opportunity to extend my gratitude and thanks to Technical Services for their advice and support during the completion of this project”.
