The Commander British Forces recently presented a leaving gift to Yvonne Taylor, who retired from the Civil Service after 31 years of service.

Yvonne is well known for her vivacious personality and the CBF thanked her for all her hard work noting that “everywhere you have been you will have brought a sense of fun and humour and you brighten our day with your enthusiasm for life.”

Yvonne is an active member of the community and very much enjoys performing arts, she is a member of the Trafalgar Theatre Group, The Kings Chapel Choir, The Musical Theatre Company and she is hoping to get involved in the Gibraltar Light Operatic company.  With a passion for both Gibraltar and the arts, Yvonne and her husband Kirby have decided not to return to the UK but to stay here in Gibraltar.
