Feb 19 - Mayor to Celebrate Purim
His Worship the Mayor, Tony Lima will celebrate the Festival of Purim during a reception set to be hosted on Monday 25th February at the City Hall.
Purim is one of the most joyous holiday on the Jewish Calendar as it commemorates the deliverance of the Jews from their enemies in the Persian Empire as related in the Book of Esther. Purim is celebrated on the fourteenth day of the Hebrew month of Adar.
