Feb 06 - 21 Gun Salute Marks Queen’s Accession to the Throne

This afternoon, a 21-gun salute was carried out by Headquarter Company (Thompson’s Battery) of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment in order to mark the Queen’s Accession to the throne 61 years ago.
Officers were inspected by James Gaggero of Blands. On this day, a gun salute is fired in both London, at the Tower of London, Hyde Park and Green Park and in Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast.
