The Hindu community in Gibraltar will be celebrating Diwali tomorrow, and the caretaker Chief Minister Fabian Picardo has expressed his well wishes for the Hindu festival of lights.
Mr Picardo said: “I want to send my best wishes to all my friends in the Hindu community.
“I know Diwali is an important day for them. I know that we will be able to enjoy some time with them during the course of the campaign, and in particular tomorrow.
“But of course, best wishes from me, best wishes from all the people I represent which I know includes many people from the community.
“I hope it is an excellent year starting tomorrow.”
