The SDGG would like to thank all those involved in this year's National Day activities. 

A spokesman for the SDGG said: "Now that the National week festivities have finished, and that we have all enjoyed another successful National Day, the SDGG would like to expr‎ess its sincere appreciation to the very significant number of persons and organisations who selflessly give of their time and effort to ensure all of us enjoy the many activities on offer.

"There are far too many individuals to mention by name‎ but there is a very large contigent of people who work very hard over many weeks and it is only right that their efforts are recognised."
