Oct 30 - New Police Dog
30 October 2013
Police Dog ‘LOSS’ arrived in Gibraltar on the 28th October following a four week course with his Handler PC 67 Nicole Buckley at South Yorkshire Police Dog Section.
‘LOSS’ is a 12 month old German Shepherd provided by the South Yorkshire Police. He will now undergo further training locally before becoming fully licenced as a General Purpose Police Dog within the next few weeks. Following this licencing ‘LOSS’ will then be fully operational.
‘LOSS’ replaces Police Dog ‘Major’ who unfortunately was not successful in his training course in Gibraltar earlier this year.
