Officers from the RGP, HM Customs and GDP are currently conducting a joint operation involving the search of the W ACE bulk carrier anchored in Gibraltar waters.

The search is connected with the suspected illicit importation of narcotics.

A spokesperson said: “This search follows recent joint police/customs searches and demonstrates the excellent working relations between local Law Enforcement Agencies and their commitment to bring those that use BGTW to commit crime to justice.”
