Oct 10 - Ten Spanish Men Due In Court This Morning
Ten Spanish nationals, resident in La Linea de La Concepcion, were arrested yesterday morning after they beached their three RHIBs off the eastern end of the runway and ran ashore after being pursued at sea by Spanish law enforcement vessels.
Jesus Sanchez Moya (18), Cristian Martin Guerrero (28), Cristian Nuevo Fernandez (24), a 17-year-old juvenile, Jonatan Tomillero Benavente (22), Jose Antonio Montenegro Mateos, (28), Francisco Javier Otero Martin (39), Dario Flores Coca (5/9/88), David Rodriguez Montes, (32) and David Vega Gomez (22) have been charged with Obstructing Airport Operations and Immigration offences. All were subsequently granted police bail to appear before the Magistrates’ court this morning.
Additionally, Tomillero Benavente and Flores Coca were also arrested for outstanding Warrants of Arrests.
These were not backed for bail and both individuals were detained in Police custody overnight in respect of the warrants pending their court appearance this morning.
