Nov 25 – Teen Pleads Guilty To Falsely Imprisoning Two Girls
25 November 2016
A teenager will be sentenced at the Juvenile Court after pleading guilty to the false imprisonment of two girls and the possession of cannabis resin.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, also faced one count of theft when he allegedly stole a knife, two pairs of scissors, a serving set and medication from the Care Agency back in August this year. He entered a not guilty plea but the Crown subsequently dropped this charge.
His lawyer Patrick Canessa has requested a pre-sentence report and the case has been adjourned until Friday 9th December at 2.30pm.
The teenager continues to be remanded in custody.
