Oct 14 - Two Women Arrested For Dangerous Driving: Moped Riders Injured

A 26-year-old Spanish woman resident in Gibraltar and a 39-year-old Romanian woman have been arrested on suspicion of Dangerous Driving this week.
The arrests follow Response Team attendances to two separate road traffic collisions at Rosia Road and Queensway this week, one of which resulted in the 18-year-old male rider of a locally registered moped being hospitalised after sustaining fractures to both legs, whilst in the second case, the female pillion of a locally registered moped was hospitalised after sustaining a suspected fracture to one of her legs.
Both drivers are currently on police bail pending the completion of each investigation.
