Oct 08 - Royal Marines 350th Anniversary Weekend
Next weekend will mark the Royal Marines 350th birthday celebrations in Gibraltar, with the Rock Run, Postal Walk, Gala Cocktail Reception, Royal Marines Band Concert and Freedom Parade.
The Royal Marines Band from Scotland are very much looking forward to staging a musical and visual extravaganza in St Michael’s Cave from 8pm on Sunday 26th October.
The Rock Run will commence 0930 in Casemates Square, on Saturday 25th October were up to 200 runners will warm up. Individuals can enter the Rock Run via www.rmctf.org.uk the Post Walk by contacting Frank Bado at frank.bado@post.gi
To further enhance the weekend events the Royal Marines will be exercising their Freedom of Gibraltar on Sunday 26th October with a Service at the Royal Marines Monument in Ocean Village at 1200 before parading through Main Street from 1245 and finishing at the Convent.
