The Gibraltar FA has today presented a cheque to Gibraltar Special Olympics in order to fund the participation of their football coaches at the 13th Special Olympics European Football Conference from the 11 -12 March 2016 in Antwerp, Belgium.

Gibraltar FA General Secretary, Dennis Beiso stated:

“The Gibraltar Special Olympics forms an integral part of Gibraltar's community and we want to ensure that we are on hand to assist wherever we can. We are committed to working long term with the Special Olympics Committee and very shortly we will be revealing plans together.”

Annie Risso of the Gibraltar Special Olympics said she was delighted by the funding help:

“It is great that you (The Gibraltar FA) are on board and the money is brilliant as it helps ensure the long term future of Special Olympics football in Gibraltar.”
