The Minister for Sport, Steven Linares, has publicly congratulated Leon de Roeck who has recently competed in the WPC World Powerlifting Championships held in Maia Portugal and broken a total of six world records during the competition.

The Minister said: “He has not only had the opportunity of competing against the top powerlifters in the world, but has also joined the many local sports persons that continuously contribute to promote Gibraltar internationally. Congratulations and well done.”
